- Liberty Bowl lawn bowling event (Hot Springs Village Voice)
The Village Green Bowls Club held its annual Liberty Bowl lawn bowling tournament recently. The event started with 16 bowlers matched in eight one on one games with the eight winners moving on to round two. SPORTSUNITE'S effort to promote unity through sports continued last weekend with the help of the Malaysian Paralympic Lawn Bowlers Association (MPLBA) where for the first time a lawn bowls carnival was held involving the able bodied and paralympic bowlers in a 'mixed fours' event that saw 20 teams competing.
